Real Madrid to make huge Olise bid
According to The Telegraph, Real Madrid will make an offer of €150 million for the services of Bayern Munich star Michael Olise – if Florentino Perez is re-elected as the club president.
The election is set to take place on Sunday, and Perez, who is expected to beat rival candidate Enrique Riquelme, has vowed to make a move for the French winger if he keeps his position. For his part, Riquelme has promised to sign Erling Haaland if he wins, which has prompted a strong reaction and a threat of legal action from Manchester City.
Olise’s rise since he joined Bayern from Crystal Palace last year has been tremendous. The 24-year-old made a total of 53 goal contributions for the Bundesliga champions in 2025-26 (22 goals, 31 assists) across 51 appearances in all competitions. His contract has three years left to run, and there have been no reports of it containing a release clause.
Jose Mourinho, whose official confirmation as the Real Madrid coach is set to come after the presidential elections, was present at the DFB-Pokal final in Berlin on May 23rd, but the reaction of Uli Hoeness, Bayern’s honorary president, was very clear:
“He can cast five eyes on Olise: he won’t get him. He remains unsellable.”
