Report Cambiaso approached by Barcelona after Chelsea interest for 26-year-old

After Chelsea interest and Manchester City last year, it is now reported that Barcelona are the favourites to sign Juventus and Italy full-back Andrea Cambiaso.
The 26-year-old had already been on the verge of a move to Manchester City in January 2025, but his exit was stalled by injuries and other issues.
Cambiaso wanted by Barcelona
Chelsea were mentioned as tracking him this week, but now Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio and transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano both suggest Barcelona are the most likely candidates.
He has been on their radar for several months, as confirmed by Sportitalia in March, and could be snapped up this summer, as Juve must make a big sale to fund other reinforcements.
The two reports suggest Barcelona have made initial contact to ask about the conditions of a transfer.
Able to play on the right or left, as a full-back or a wing-back, Cambiaso was bought for €15.5m from Genoa in 2022.
He scored three goals and provided five assists in 47 competitive appearances for Juventus this season.
