AC Milan made their offer to PSG for Gonçalo Ramos
Condemned to a supersub role at Paris Saint-Germain, Gonçalo Ramos will perhaps fly to other lands this summer. The 25-year-old Portuguese striker, currently at the World Cup with the Portuguese selection, is the subject of interest abroad. It’s no longer a secret but AC Milan would like to make him their number nine next season.
The arrival of Ruben Amorim has not called this path into question, quite the contrary. The former Manchester United coach has expressed his intention to bring in the former Benfica player, while departures are expected in attack (notably Rafael Leao, who has announced his desire to leave in recent weeks).
Negotiations underway for the transfer of Ramos
Today, the Ramos case has seen significant progress. We knew that AC Milan planned to make an offer for the Portuguese, we now have confirmation. As revealed by Fabrizio Romano, the Lombard club, which has made Ramos its priority in attack, has made an official proposal to Paris Saint-Germain. Negotiations are currently taking place with Ramos and his agent, Jorge Mendes, on the contours of the contract.
AC Milan, which will play in the Europa League next season, would not be the only club in the race to attract the Portuguese international (26 caps, 10 goals). For his part, the native of Olhão has already won everything with Paris. Given his services rendered (42 goals in 113 matches), he can naturally aspire to take on a new status today. It remains to be seen for what amount Paris will let him leave, even though he was recruited for around 80 million euros at the time.
