Brighton drop €50m offer for Vuskovic
After attracting the promising Zadok Yohanna for around 30 million euros, Brighton still has the madness of grandeur in this transfer window. According to information from Fabrizio Romano, the English club have made an offer worth 50 million euros, including bonus, for Croatian defender Luka Vuskovic. In recent days, the Seagulls had already made a first offer, rejected by Tottenham.
Loaned last season to Hamburg, the 19-year-old defender had an astonishing season (30 matches, 6 goals, 1 assist). Tottenham recruited him last summer from Hadjuk Split for around 11 million euros. Spurs’ plan was to bring him in when he returned next season, but his future would remain uncertain to this day. A decision should be made fairly quickly for the player currently at the World Cup with Croatia.
