Didier Deschamps’ revelations about Real Madrid’s interest
If Real Madrid chose José Mourinho to replace Alvaro Arbeloa, the Spanish press, for a moment, assured that Didier Deschamps was one of the avenues considered for the Merengue management. The future ex-coach of the Blues was not selected and here is his response when he was questioned on this subject in today’s edition of Marca.
“I was put in the lists of candidates, in the preselections, I remember my son telling me that jokingly, because it happened to me for two years. I left Juventus in 2007, I was on all the candidate lists, practically, but my son told me that the problem was that I always ended up on the candidate list. Afterwards, whether it’s true or not, I’m not going to go into details, because it doesn’t matter. Have I had any offers? Yes, obviously”he confided.
