Nottingham Forest willing to negotiate Arnaud Kalimuendo’s exit

Arnaud Kalimuendo scored six goals and provided one assist in 19 Bundesliga games while on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt from Nottingham Forest in 2025/26, and now the Bundesliga side are seeking to sign the French attacker on a permanent basis.
Bild understands that negotiations are ongoing, with new developments emerging. Frankfurt, who recently announced the return of Adi Hütter, have no intention of paying the previously agreed €27m purchase option. However, the 24-year-old has signalled his intent to join the Hessen club permanently which could force NFFC’s hand.
Frankfurt value Kalimuendo at around €20m and don’t want to go higher, although the Premier League club are insisting on a fee in the region of €25m, per Bild. With the expected departures of Elye Wahi and Noel Futkeu, it’s likely that club bosses will inject a percentage of the fees received into signing the Frenchman on a permanent basis.
