Fabrizio Romano reports that Real Madrid have informed Inter that they’ll activate Denzel Dumfries’ €20m clause, with the 30-year-old undergoing medical tests in the Netherlands today.
Real Madrid have taken all the necessary steps to sign Dutch right-back Dumfries from Inter.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 30-year-old underwent medical tests with the La Liga giants in the Netherlands today.
Dumfries is suspended for tonight’s Netherlands friendly against Algeria after being sent off in their last game, so he’s not even on the bench.

According to Romano, Real Madrid directors have already informed their Inter counterparts that they’ll activate the defender’s €20m clause, signing him at the beginning of July.
Technically, Dumfries’ release clause activates in July, and Real Madrid have everything in place to formally welcome him next month.
Dumfries, 30, joined Inter from PSV in a €14m deal in the summer of 2021.
He scored 27 goals and provided 28 assists in 207 games with Inter, winning two Serie A titles, three Coppa Italia titles, three Supercoppa titles, and reaching the Champions League Final twice.
