Multiple reports state that Manchester United have reached a full agreement with Atalanta to buy Ederson for €40.5m plus a further €4.5m in bonuses.
It was no secret that the midfielder was heading towards Old Trafford, as while he had agreed personal terms with Atletico Madrid last month, they failed to meet the asking price set by La Dea.
Once Manchester United matched those terms and were prepared to pay more for the transfer fee, it became a one-horse race.
Ederson all set for Manchester United

They had been discussing the details for several weeks, and The Athletic, Fabrizio Romano and more all confirm the two clubs have now shaken hands.
It is worth €40.5m in a fixed fee, plus up to a further €4.5m in add-ons.
This is lower than the original Italian reports, which had the price closer to €48-50m.
The contract with Manchester United will run to June 2030, with an option to extend by another season.
This is another transfer masterclass from Atalanta, who bought the Brazilian from Salernitana for €22.9m in the summer of 2022.

There were suggestions last summer that the asking price was €60m, but as his contract in Bergamo only runs to June 2027, the cost dropped this time around.
