‘I don’t care’, says Torres on PSG links

Ferran Torres says he does not care about speculation linking him with a move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Spaniard’s contract with the Blaugrana is set to expire in 2027, with recent reports suggesting the European champions are interested in his signature.

If he were to make the switch to the French capital, Torres would again link up with Luis Enrique, whom he previously worked with in the national team.

Torres impressed for Barcelona in 2025-26 as he helped them win LaLiga for the second consecutive season.

Only Lamine Yamal (24) scored more goals in all competitions than Torres’ 21, with only Marc Bernal (33.3%) boasting a better shot conversion rate than him (21.7%).

Torres was also the first-choice striker for Barcelona, often starting ahead of Robert Lewandowski, who left Camp Nou at the end of the campaign.

But, asked what he made of the rumours of a move to PSG, Torres said: “I don’t know, and I don’t care right now.

“[Spain’s World Cup opener against Cape Verde] is the important thing, getting the three points, having a good debut…

“[Where do I see myself?] Playing against Cape Verde [on Monday].”
