Chelsea get rid of Michael Olise’s brother

As at the end of each season, Premier League clubs announce the players who have not been retained at the end of their contract. On the Chelsea side, Brodi Hughes, Sam Rak-Sakyi and Jimi Tauriainen were released, but also a certain Richard Olise. A 21-year-old right-back who arrived at the club like his brother, he was not kept like the latter.

Playing seven matches this season with the Blues reserves, the London native is capable of playing right winger and central defender. A former England U18 international, he joined Chelsea when he was an U9. Now he will have to look for a new team.
