Louis Saha heading to Cyprus!
Former France and Manchester United striker Louis Saha, as well as other players who have played in the Premier League such as Emile Heskey and Wes Brown, run football camps at the luxurious Aphrodite Hills Resort in Cyprus.
The Aphrodite Hills Resort, near Paphos in Cyprus, is a magnificent resort well known to golfers around the world. The 18-hole course offers spectacular panoramas, notably overlooking the birthplace of the goddess of love and procreation, Aphrodite. The resort hosted two European Tour tournaments in 2020 (the Cyprus Open and the Cyprus Showdown) and is now part of the PGA Tour courses.
In addition to golf, tennis, padel but also football punctuate the life of the Aphrodite Hills Resort and its guests. The complex recently inaugurated its racket club, since three padel courts were built alongside 9 tennis courts (including 4 clay courts). At the same time, Carlton Cole, former Chelsea and West Ham striker and 7-time England international, hosted a football course for young and old.
Saha but also Heskey, Smicer or Pennant
As a former British colony, Cyprus is now a vacation destination of choice for the English or Irish. Former Premier League players are taking part in football courses, including former French international Louis Saha, from August 17 to 21. The Metz-trained striker obviously has a superb career in England. He played at Manchester United – for two league titles and a Champions League – as well as at Fulham and Everton.
The cast is strong with Emile Heskey, star center forward of the PL of the 2000s (62 caps with the Three Lions), who participates in these Football Coaching Camps at the Aphrodite Hills Resort. We also find Wes Brown, another former Man United player, Jermaine Pennant, winger who played for Arsenal with Thierry Henry, Vladimir Smicer, the former Czech attacking midfielder revealed at RC Lens and winner of the 2005 Champions League with Liverpool, or even Joe Ledley, who shone with Wales at Euro 2016 (until the semi-finals against Portugal).
