Aleksander Čeferin almost forgot Marquinhos’ medal
Unusual moment during the medal ceremony after PSG’s coronation in the Champions League. When congratulating the Parisian players, UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin almost forgot to present his medal to Parisian captain Marquinhos, who was one of the last players to parade before the trophy presentation.
The error was ultimately avoided thanks to the intervention of Ousmane Dembélé, who quickly pointed out the oversight. Taken by surprise, Čeferin immediately collected a medal to give it to Marquinhos under the smiles of the Parisian players. A funny scene which, however, did not spoil the Brazilian captain’s celebration when it came time to lift the Champions League.
