Monaco has found its new coach
AS Monaco, which should announce in the coming hours the dismissal of Sébastien Pocognoli, has his successor.
The rumors at the start of the week surrounding AS Monaco’s interest in Bruno Genesio did not encourage optimism. Without much surprise, the departure of Sébastien Pocognoli had already been confirmed. The Principality club should quickly formalize its departure. And all the more so since, according to Fabrizio Romano, the leaders of ASM have already found their new coach. It will not be Bruno Genesio, close to joining Olympique de Marseille, but Filipe Luis, the former coach of Flamengo.
At only 40 years old, the former midfielder already enjoys a great reputation. Consequence of his very successful stint at the head of the Carioca team. In just three seasons, the former left-back, who notably spent time with La Coruna, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea before ending his career at Flamengo, has won no less than five trophies.
Five titles in three years with Flamengo
